I've completed the first half of my Oak Leaf & Acorn Scarf. I believe I had enough yarn to do 6 repeats of the Oak Leaf pattern as per the instructions. I have a little less than half the original yarn left, but the second half is three rows shorter than the first. If I were to run short of yarn, I could do 5 repeats for the second half or maybe take a few rows out of the Oak Leaf pattern. The Acorn pattern makes up the last bit of the scarf before the picot edging. I was impressed with how closely they do resemble acorns though you cannot tell from this photo. This scarf is so much fun to knit. The yarn is wonderful with its softness and color changes. The pattern is interesting and my Lace Addi Turbos are working out very nicely. I think the second half will go by very quickly.
The scarf looks so pretty & I like the color changes & the edging.

Please be sure to post to Spindlers when you finish - I really want to see this blocked, it looks lovely already!

Isn't it great once you have the rhythm of a pattern down? The beginning is always a trail.
