I knitted this Turn A Square hat for Lawrence for his upcoming birthday. Not that he needs a wool/cashmere/nylon hat in the summer, but he does so appreciate my knitting for him. The yarn is Capital Luxury Worsted and the pattern is by Jared Flood. I used size 8 Addi Turbo needles with a gauge of 5 sts to the inch. I did my usual jog minimization technique of moving the beginning of the round to the left for each round which was more difficult to hide in this thicker yarn.
Lawrence should receive it tomorrow and I hope he has a wonderful birthday on Wednesday!

Gorgeous hat & you did a fantastic job of hiding that jog. The strips look so even.

The photo doesn't do it justice, or maybe I should just say, it's incredibly soft and warm, which you can't tell from the photo, obviously. I'm a lucky boy to have Roseann in my life, and to be the recipient of many fine pieces of her work!

Great hat! And it appears to be a hit with Lawrence, as it should.
