I have completed my Knit Picks Felici socks in the Alexandrite colorway. Knit Picks changed their Felici yarn design and now have longer stripes of color making it easier to knit two matching socks. It does create slightly less interesting knitting as I am used to more frequent color changes. I measured 33" back from where the beginning of the first green stripe to ensure that my entire k2, p2 cast on was in green. I used 72 sts on size 0 (2.00 mm) Darn Pretty Needle Dpns (my new favorite sock needles). I was lucky that the socks start with green and end with green. These are fairly dense socks as I do not have much sock yarn leftover. There were no knots in either ball of yarn which would complicate the patterning for me. I had noticed at least two knots in several balls of Swish Worsted as I knitted top-down raglan sweaters for Justin & Joshua. I look forward to seeing how these socks hold up through my workday tomorrow.

those socks are lovely! thanks for the info on the yarn.

Great socks! The care that you take to get the stripes to match up is amazing.
